IF YOUR SOFT CONTACT LENSES ARE NOT PERFECTLY COMFORTABLE THEN READ THIS!!
Posted 4/8/2005
Most of our soft contact lens patients do very well with both the comfort and clarity of their contact lenses. However, there are some patients who have to use rewetting drops on a fairly frequent basis to maintain lens comfort. Additionally we have some patients who have to remove their contact lenses sooner then they would like due to discomfort towards the end of the day. Johnson & Johnson has just released their new contact lens product, which may very well solve those pesky not quite so comfortable contact lens problems.
The new Acuvue Advance contact lens with Hydraclear delivers an outstanding combination of contact lens benefits; increased oxygen permeability, a comfortable design and a moisture-rich wetting agent. Hydraclear, the wetting agent, works not only on the surface of the lens but also throughout the interior of the lens and that's a major plus.
Our office was one of the first in the nation to get this product and our experience to date has been positive with many patients benefiting from increased comfort, whiter eyes and longer wearing time.
If this new lens is of interest to you please talk to your doctor or our contact lens staff. The only thing your have to lose is contact lens discomfort!
