Congratulations to Cindy and Jody from our office, both who recently sat for and passed the certified paraoptometric examination in Cleveland Ohio. This examination test for competence in those skills necessary to properly perform examination procedures which aid the doctor in the proper diagnosis and treatment of the patient.
Jody is now a certified paraoptometric. Cindy passed her second level examination and is now a certified paraoptometric assistant.
Upgrading our skills and continuing education is an important part of our commitment to patient care and we are proud of Cindy and Jody's accomplishments!
We would also like to introduce you to our newest staff member Dawn Arnold. Dawn grew up in Westfield and graduated from Erie County Community College's Ophthalmic Dispensing program. Dawn comes to us with 13 years experience as a licensed Optician and is also licensed in contact lenses. She currrently lives in Dunkirk with her 10 year old daughter, Chelsea and her three cats.
